The electric cooperatives in Alabama and Northwest Florida are sponsoring the Conserve101 member consumer energy efficiency program. Our service territory spans 39 Alabama counties and 10 Florida counties. We provide energy to meet the needs of more than 1 million consumers.

As cooperative members and owners, we all carry the responsibility to make the best use of our energy resources. While the cost of providing reliable electricity have risen, your cooperative system has been working with our power supplier, PowerSouth Energy Cooperative, to find the best ways to ease the burden of those costs-for our individual members and for our entire cooperative network.

One of the most important things we can do is slow the growth in energy use. By using electricity wisely, we can optimize our generating capacity in order to postpone building costly new power plants. The good news is that everything you do to reduce your usage not only helps us manage growth, but it also helps you manage your energy use and ultimately your power bill.
